2011 Woony River Ride Presented by

Explore the Woonasquatucket River from Providence to bucolic North Smithfield on this annual bike-a-thon; a fundraiser for the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council. You can choose between a 5, 10, 23 or 50 mile ride.
The 50, 23 and 10 mile rides START and END at Waterplace Park in Downtown Providence:
• 8:00am - 50 mile ride
• 9:30am - 23 mile ride
• 10:30am - 10 mile ride

The 5 mile family friendly ride/walk STARTS and ENDS at Riverside Park - 50 Aleppo Street in Providence:
• 11:00am - 5 mile ride/walk
Registrants who are 17 years old or younger must have a waiver signed by parent or guardian at event registration.
Check in at Waterplace Park a half hour before your chosen ride begins.
Parking: Citizens Bank parking lot at One Citizens Plaza, Providence
Celebrate! Celebratory BBQ, 12:00-3:00 at Waterplace Park basin - at Francis Street and Finance Way. We'll have BIKE VALET for the Celebration BBQ and volunteers to direct you!
The Woony Ride brings out families and avid cyclists from the all over the region to enjoy the beauty of the Woonasquatucket River, a historic asset to the state of Rhode Island. Your registration payment buys you a supported ride, snacks, water and an after-party at the basin at Waterplace Park in Downtown Providence with music, food, beer and raffle prizes!
Sponsorship and registration fees help manage the cost of the event and provide organizational support to the WRWC in our year-round efforts to maintain, provide programs, and move forward the Fred Lippitt Woonasquatucket River Greenway Bike Path.
