Buttonhole Golf Course (formerly Dyerville Park)
Providence/Johnston Border
Back to the tour map

Dyerville State Park was once an abandoned and neglected area which had been used as a landfill and an illegal tire dump. Now the Park is being redeveloped by the Rhode Island Golf Association, into a short course golf course called Buttonhole Golf Course. Buttonhole will be a resource to Providence youth, providing them with low or no cost golfing opportunities. The Greenway will split at Buttonhole, on one side the path will cross the river on a pedestrian bridge and enter the Manton neighborhood. On the other side the path will run along the ridge above the golf course, near the Hartford neighborhood and into Johnston.
